What is MPNP Business Investor Stream?
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Business Investor Stream is an immigration pathway that allows experienced business investors and entrepreneurs to settle and establish or purchase a business in Manitoba, Canada. This stream is designed to attract individuals who have the intention and ability to make a significant investment in Manitoba’s economy.
- Under the MPNP Business Investor Stream, there are two categories:
1. Entrepreneur Pathway:
This category is for individuals who wish to open a new business or purchase an existing business in Manitoba. Applicants must have a minimum net worth of CAD $500,000 and make a minimum investment of CAD $250,000 in the business. They are also required to have a minimum of three years of business ownership or senior management experience, either as an active business owner or in a senior management role in a successful business.
2. Farm Investor Pathway:
This category is for individuals with proven farm business experience, who have the intention and ability to establish and operate a farm operation in Manitoba. Applicants must have a minimum net worth of CAD $500,000 and make a minimum investment of CAD $300,000 in the farm business. They are also required to have a minimum of three years of farm ownership and operation experience, as well as the ability to actively participate in the day-to-day management of the farm.
